“Congratulations to Epsom & Ewell Colts U13 Warriors team, managed and coached by Keith Wilson and Paul Mady, who were recently crowned champions of Epsom & Ewell Youth League Division One. Coming into their last match of the season the boys were unbeaten with eleven wins and two draws under their belts, but still needed to secure 3 points from their top of the table rivals, Old Coulsdon Jets, to take the league. At half time things were not looking good, with the Warriors trailing 3-1. However in the second half the lads showed outstanding character and determination, not to mention footballing skill, and managed to turn the match around. At the final whistle Epsom & Ewell Colts lead 5-4 and had done enough to take the league title by two points. Well done boys!”
