As part of our partnership with Glyn we have the opportunity to help develop the existing Pavilion to become our very own club house! We are really excited to get this project underway, the new clubhouse will give us a social hub for our club members, friends and family for many years to come. Next season we will be using the Glyn pitches for many of our Sunday fixtures and adhoc Saturday fixtures and we anticipate that work on the 3G pitch will begin also.

The building already boasts 2 large changing rooms with toilets and shower facilities, a good size club room overlooking the pitches and a kitchen for selling hot and cold food and drinks. Our friends from Nutmeg pop-up cafe at Court Rec will be moving into the kitchen for match days.

However, the Pavilion is in need of refurbishment and so we would like to pull together a team of managers/parents/associates to bring the building up to an improved standard. We have drawn up a schedule of works and identified several phases of the project. The first phase of the project will be done over the summer to enable us to use the building by the weekend of 11th September.

  • Phase 1 – Summer 2022 – is to revive the Club Room and the exterior of the building. The majority of the work in this phase will be cleaning, washing, prepping and painting. We intend to do phase 1 over the summer holidays and we need help, in fact as many hands on deck as possible!
  • Phase 2 – 2023 will be refurbishing the changing rooms/showers/washrooms
  • Phase 3 – 2023/24 funding dependent – extending club room and the balcony

To give you a flavour of the new clubhouse, one of our Girls U11s has put together (thank you Francesca!)

We are looking for an army of volunteers and therefore need your help!
